Our work advances the vision of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.internetsociety.org\/\">Internet Society<\/a> (ISOC): <em>The Internet is For Everyone<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, we support efforts to ensure that the Internet is open, globally-connected, secure, and trustworthy. We champion the use of the network as a critical technical infrastructure that can bring communities better education, healthcare and economic opportunity among other important areas of focus. We seek out worldwide opportunities to advance ideas and we foster strength in diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t<h2>Our Focus Areas<\/h2>\n<p>We help Internet Society chapters around the world implement local and regional projects that advance the vision of <strong>the Internet is for everyone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isocfoundation.org\/grant-programme\/beyond-the-net-grant-program\/\">Beyond the Net grant program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We expand <strong>economic growth and increase educational opportunities<\/strong> by supporting individuals and communities to more knowledgeably and skillfully use the Internet.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isocfoundation.org\/grant-programme\/scills-grant-programme\/\">Strengthening Communities and Improving Lives &amp; Livelihoods (SCILLS) grant program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We support <strong>global research collaborations<\/strong> that advance understanding of the Internet and its value for all.
