They created a SOLE Lab, a physical space where people can access and use the Internet collaboratively to answer questions important to the community. <\/p>\n\n<p>Sanjay Fernandes, fundador de SOLE Colombia, explica: &#171;El laboratorio SOLE es una soluci\u00f3n para comunidades que no cuentan con un espacio p\u00fablico con conexi\u00f3n a Internet. Es una forma de mejorar la oportunidad de las personas de conectarse, pero lo interesante no es solo dar la conexi\u00f3n a Internet, sino tambi\u00e9n una raz\u00f3n para usarla, que es responder preguntas&#187;.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"SOLE Lab: Internet for collective learning in a Colombian indigenous community\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4iz9LSHm_PY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong> Entornos de aprendizaje autoorganizados<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>SOLE significa un entorno de aprendizaje autoorganizado. El laboratorio SOLE es un centro comunitario donde las personas pueden aprender unas de otras y explorar su curiosidad. &#171;El laboratorio SOLE es nuestra versi\u00f3n de c\u00f3mo ser\u00eda la biblioteca del futuro&#187;, dice Fernandes.<\/p>\n\n<p>La subvenci\u00f3n BOLT otorgada por la Fundaci\u00f3n Internet Society result\u00f3 ser un momento crucial para SOLE Colombia. Fernandes dijo que la subvenci\u00f3n les permiti\u00f3 experimentar y desarrollar un prototipo. Como resultado, la comunidad ahora puede autoorganizarse en su propio espacio y utilizar Internet.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Empoderar a las comunidades y preservar la cultura<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>El laboratorio SOLE est\u00e1 ubicado en Boca de Camarones, La Guajira, Colombia. Durante m\u00e1s de siete a\u00f1os, la Embajadora de SOLE, Elainer Ipuana, ha utilizado la metodolog\u00eda SOLE con ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes. Han explorado temas como la programaci\u00f3n, la educaci\u00f3n ambiental y el turismo, al tiempo que incorporan su conocimiento y cultura ancestral wayu\u00fa.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#171;Te das cuenta de que la curiosidad de la gente siempre ha estado ah\u00ed. El laboratorio SOLE les permite dejarlo crecer y hacer lo que puedan con \u00e9l. Ahora pueden acceder a los servicios gubernamentales que antes requer\u00edan un largo viaje hasta la ciudad m\u00e1s cercana.
