Georgette Wamboi
I play an integral role in shaping and executing a unified communications strategy at the Internet Society Foundation.
With over 16 years of professional experience, my career spans multiple sectors across Africa, including mainstream media, impact investment, non-profit, health, humanitarian, and emergency response.
I hold a Master’s degree in Digital and Strategic Communication and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Communications, further deepening my research and practice at the intersection of digital media, technology, and society.
Outside of work, I find my zen in quality family time and personal growth. I’m always up for a good laugh; it’s one of the best ways to build connection. I am based in Kenya.
