2025 Annual Report

The Internet changes lives—but only when people can access it and use it safely.

The Internet Society and the Internet Society Foundation operate as complementary parts of a single mission-driven ecosystem. Together, we align strategy, programs, and investment to advance our shared 2030 goals: expanding affordable, reliable access and ensuring that people everywhere are safe and secure online. 

In 2025, we worked in 150 countries and territories, supporting community centered connectivity initiatives, helping safeguard the multistakeholder model of Internet governance, scaling our philanthropic impact through new funding partnerships, and so much more.

This report offers a snapshot of our shared accomplishments, which were made possible by working in tandem with our global community and partners.  

Their extraordinary commitment and collaboration made 2025—the first year of our ambitious five-year strategy—a success.
