Bharti Kannan
As a Fellowships Advisor, I manage the Early Career, Mid-Career, and Youth Ambassador Fellowship Programs, supporting and catalyzing fellows to contribute toward a more inclusive, accessible, and trustworthy Internet.
I bring over 12 years of intersectional experience across sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), digital rights, and movement building. I founded and led a menstrual health enterprise in India, focusing on sustainable menstruation, market development, agency-building, and policy advocacy. I also led the scaling and growth of a multilingual digital informational helpline supporting women, girls, and trans, non-binary, and queer individuals, grounded in survivor-centric and feminist principles, in India.
I value pushing the boundaries of work at the intersection of systems, equity, and lived realities to realize a fair and just world.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing badminton and I am deeply drawn to the quiet and restorative presence of green spaces and nature. I am based in India.
