Fatima Zahra Lbouhmadi
I am the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist at the Internet Society Foundation. I am passionate about the power of the Internet to transform lives, creating new possibilities for learning, connection, and opportunity—this passion drives my contribution to the Philanthropy team’s work, where I design and implement trainings and strategies to assess the impact of our programs.
Before joining the Foundation, I worked on programs focusing on good governance, women’s and youth political participation, and election monitoring. In 2023, I supported a project on inclusive education funded by USAID in Morocco, strengthening their MEL systems. My most significant professional experience was with the National Democratic Institute, where I coordinated MEL work in Morocco and Iraq from 2011 to 2022.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in general engineering with a major in computer networks from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI) and an executive master’s degree in public policy and development from the International University of Rabat (UIR). I speak Arabic, English, and French.
I enjoy traveling and hiking in my spare time and cherish moments spent with my nephews, who bring a lot of joy to my life.
