    OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

The MMIX & MMNOG Forum is an annual event designed to bring together a diverse community of stakeholders from the Internet and IT ecosystem. Participants include Internet business leaders, network engineers, operators, content providers, technical community members, and representatives from international organizations.

The forum’s core objective is to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation to strengthen the digital landscape in Myanmar and the broader region. Specifically, the event offers valuable opportunities for peering, interconnection, and the development of advanced technical skills. It serves as a dynamic platform where industry professionals can exchange best practices, share experiences, and engage in peer learning.

    WHY IS THIS PROJECT IMPORTANT?

The MMIX & MMNOG Forum plays an important role in supporting the growth and resilience of the Internet infrastructure. One of its most important functions is providing exceptional opportunities for peering and interconnection, which directly improve network efficiency by enabling local traffic exchange, reducing latency, and lowering operational costs.

The forum also significantly contributes to technical capacity building. Through hands-on workshops, tutorials, and technical presentations focused on IXP and ISP operations, participants gain exposure to critical knowledge areas such as routing, network automation, and Internet security—topics essential for building and maintaining robust, scalable networks.

    The Internet is for Everyone
